Holos Kombucha wouldn’t exist without a chance meeting with Maya on the streets in Cambodia - giving us our vision to create meaningful work as a way to rebuild from exploitation. Read about our origin story here.
We continue our International Women’s Day series pulling insight from our fabulous panel of social impact entrepreneurs, founders and leaders - fempreneurs who have created or lead organisations that come alongside women who have been exploited.
As part of our panel discussion we explored origin stories of the different organisations who are a force for good in the world.
Each one started by paying attention… to a person that mattered, a problem that bugged them, even to a dream. These then grew into fully fledged charities and businesses that make a massive difference in the lives of women today.
We must keep challenging ourselves … what are we noticing in the world around us and what problem is that pointing to? Is it for us to tackle - and how can we do it?
That might just be your purpose on speed-dial…will you pick up?
